“Jaxson Dart at 114 — dual-threat QB2 who covers the Hurts bye in Week 10 and was not surviving the next lap.”

MemoPrivate from other managers · public to you

On the clock at 114 with four RBs and one QB already in the bag. The board had one player who would not survive the next 12 picks and one I had ranked first in last turn's notes.

Rachaad White was still there — my stated RB5 target after Rodriguez went 110. I passed. Washington's depth chart is JCM, White, Kaytron Allen. Quinn is pushing JCM toward every-down work (receiving and pass-pro were the camp focus). White's third-down job is a Week 1 question, not a fact, and Allen is the short-yardage vulture. Add the Aug 12 hamstring that cost him the rest of preseason and a still-active Sleeper flag. Season 128 / W1 10.3 is a bench piece I would not start over Brown, Hall, Lloyd, or Corum. ADP 140 at pick 114 is a slight reach. I already have four RBs with standalone paths and $100 FAAB earmarked for exactly the Hall/Lloyd/Corum failure modes.

Jaxson Dart is the pick. Dual-threat, 9 rushing TDs as a rookie, ~20 PPG in his 12 starts, 297 season projection, ADP 95. Bye 8 sits with Olave and Evans while Hurts plays; he plays Week 10 when Hurts and Waddle sit. That is the only real hole on this roster, filled without streaming. If Hurts misses time I have a plug-and-play QB1 instead of a dart throw. Six of the next twelve teams have one QB. He was not going to be there at 127.

Rejected: Brooks (two ACLs, no 2025 log, Hubbard), Monangai (knee, bye 10 — out in the Hurts hole), any WR (five is plenty; Meyers and Pittman just went), K/DEF this early (HOU and Fairbairn will wait; I also do not want PHI/DEN bye 10 or BAL bye 13). Stafford/Love cover Week 10 too but they are 15–20 points worse on the season and Dart's rushing floor is the reason you roster a second QB in the first place.

Unsure: White could still get scooped as BPA before 127 even though every team in that window already has four RBs. Qwen (only three RBs) does not pick until 129, after me. If White is there at 127 I will take him. If not, Spears or a clean K/DEF (Little/Myers/Reichard; HOU or MIN or NE — not PHI/DEN/BAL).

Need > reach. Dart was the need that was also the value.

The user is on the clock for draft pick 114, round 12. I need to make exactly one pick, then finish_turn.
R12 (114) pick: Rachaad White RB WAS

White is the clear #1 target on my list — startable RB5 with a solid bye week (7) and a PPR floor behind JCM. He's the only one that actually fits the "remaining name is still startable" priority 1.

Rodriguez is gone, Jones is gone, Monangai is out, Brooks is risky, Tracy is neck, Washington is bye 13. White is the best remaining RB5 option and I need one.

Dart (QB2) is tempting for the W10 hole, but I'd rather have the RB 5th than a QB2 right now — I already have Hurts and don't need another QB until later. White gives me the insurance I want on the RB side.

I'll take White and finish the turn.

White is still on the board after Rodriguez and Jones went; Dart is sitting there with a 297 projection. Checking both before I lock the pick.

Let me gather more info on White's injury status and Dart being available. Also need to check if White will last or if I should take him now.
I’m leaning toward Rachaad White here. His hamstring issue was preseason-only, and the coach said everyone was full-go in the walkthrough—sounds like he’s ready to roll. At ADP 140 he’s still a steal for a PPR RB5 who can give you that three-down upside behind Jayden Daniels 90% of the time. White’s bye is week 7, so he slots right into the hole we already covered with Hurts and the WRs.

Dart is tempting for the W10 stack, but he’s a 297 ADP QB2 in a league where most teams only need one QB. I’d rather 12 more picks go to RBs/WRs than another QB when I already have Hurts. White gives me better insurance on the RB side without overreaching.

You are on the clock. Overall pick 114, round 12. Make exactly one pick, then finish_turn. Consecutive snake picks get separate turns; you may plan for your next pick in your notes.

Your next pick after this turn is overall 127 (round 13), with 12 other picks in between.

## You

You are Grok 4.6 (xAI), seat 6 of 10 (a seat number, not a draft slot; the draft order is drawn by lottery before the draft, and your first pick is overall 7). Record: 0-0, 0.0 PF.

## Your notes (written by you last time)

DRAFT: Seat 6 / slot 7. Picks 7/14/27/34/47/54/67/74/87/94/107/114/127/134/147.

PICKED:
R1 (7) Amon-Ra St. Brown WR DET bye 6. Elite WR floor.
R2 (14) Chase Brown RB CIN bye 6. PPR three-down RB1.
R3 (27) Chris Olave WR NO bye 8.
R4 (34) Breece Hall RB NYJ bye 13. Groin/thigh flag; Glenn 9/8 returning to practice. Early snap risk (Braelon Allen).
R5 (47) Jaylen Waddle WR DEN bye 10.
R6 (54) Jalen Hurts QB PHI bye 10. Smash dual-threat. Bye 10 stacks Waddle. Plays W6 hole.
R7 (67) DJ Moore WR BUF bye 7. Plays W6 hole as FLEX.
R8 (74) Mike Evans WR SF bye 8. Soft-tissue (camp quad/adductor/groin; Sleeper flag foot). Pearsall+Kirk IR = volume. Bye 8 stacks Olave.
R9 (87) MarShawn Lloyd RB GB bye 11. Jacobs still Commissioner's Exempt (court 9/10; GM "sometime" in 2026, not W1). Lloyd atop GB chart; Kaleb Johnson playbook lag. RISK: injury magnet, Jacobs return, Johnson committee.
R10 (94) Mark Andrews TE BAL bye 13. Likely gone to NYG. Plays W6. Stacks Hall W13 (thinnest week).
R11 (107) Blake Corum RB LAR bye 11. RB4. McVay held him out of preseason with starters; beat writers 50/50 vs Kyren, Graziano floated overtaking. 2025: 132 car / 687 yd / 6 TD / only 7 rec (not PPR). Seas 135 / W1 8.5. HEALTHY no flag. Bye 11 stacks Lloyd (both BENCH; Brown+Hall play W11). Plays W6 hole and W13 hole. ADP 101 — would not last 6 more picks.

ROSTER 11/15: QB Hurts. RB Brown, Hall, Lloyd, Corum. WR ARSB, Olave, Waddle, Moore, Evans. TE Andrews. Need: K, DEF, 2 bench (QB2 / WR6 / TE2 / RB5).

WEEK 6 HOLE: ARSB + Chase Brown OUT. Hurts + Hall + Olave + Waddle + Moore + Evans + Lloyd + Andrews + Corum all PLAY. Covered.
WEEK 8 HOLE: Olave + Evans OUT. Covered (ARSB, Brown, Waddle, Moore, Hall, Hurts, Lloyd, Corum, Andrews).
WEEK 10 HOLE: Hurts + Waddle OUT. Stream QB. Covered at skill.
WEEK 11: Lloyd + Corum BOTH out. Brown + Hall + 4 WRs + Andrews. Startable — only thin if a starter sits.
WEEK 13: Hall + Andrews BOTH out. Brown + Lloyd + Corum + 4 WRs. RB4 Corum is the W13 patch. Fine.

R12 (114) TARGETS — 6 picks between: Zhipu 108+113, Qwen 109+112, Moonshot 110+111 (consec). All three are RB3 teams and will hunt RBs.
Priority:
1. RB5 only if a remaining name is still startable: White WAS 128 bye 7 (PPR 3rd-down behind JCM; hamstring Aug 12, flag undisclosed, Quinn 9/8 "everybody participated" walkthrough; W1 proj 10.3) > Rodriguez JAX 133 bye 7 (co-starter w/ Tuten, $10M FA, not a receiver, W1 maybe extra if LeQuint Allen Q) > Spears TEN 115 bye 9 (Pollard backup, 38 rec/12 G 2025, role unchanged). NOT Brooks (2xACL, missed 9/7 practice "soreness", Hubbard lead, split even if healthy). NOT Monangai (knee, just back 9/7 after 3 wks, Swift lead, bye 10 = out in Hurts+Waddle hole). NOT Jones (bye 6). NOT Tracy (neck). NOT Washington (bye 13 stacks Hall+Andrews).
2. QB2 if RB scraps: Dart NYG 297 bye 8 PLAYS the W10 Hurts hole (bye 8 stacks Olave+Evans — one week). Then Stafford LAR 280 bye 11 / Love GB 279 bye 11. NOT Nix/Mayfield (bye 10). NOT Goff/Murray (bye 6). Stream W10 still fine.
3. WR6 only if smash leftover: Pittman PIT 171 bye 9 (flag leg). Shakir BUF 171 bye 7 (stacks Moore). Meyers JAX 169 flag hand. QJ LAC 164. Worthy KC 162. Doubs NE 161. Do NOT need WR — 5 is plenty.
4. Still no K/DEF (Aubrey+SEA+LAR already gone; HOU DEF 104 / Fairbairn 113 / Little 112 / Myers 111 last to R13-15). No TE2 unless Henry and literally nothing else. No Likely.

PHILOSOPHY: Full PPR 10-team. Elite WR floor + three-down RB + volume RB2 + clean WR3 + dual-threat QB + volume FLEX + opportunity RB3 + vacated-target TE + committee RB4 with standalone rushing-TD path. FAAB $100 save for bye/injury (Lloyd health/Jacobs, Evans soft-tissue, Hall snaps, Corum if Kyren never cedes). Deadline week 11. Need > reach.

OTHER GMs going into R12:
Zhipu (RB3 WR3 QB2 TE2) — needs RB/WR/K/DEF. Two picks 108, 113.
Qwen (RB3 WR5 TE1 QB1) — needs RB/K/DEF. 109, 112.
Moonshot (WR5 RB3 TE1 QB1) — needs RB/K/DEF. 110-111 consec.
Anthropic now RB4 WR5 TE1 QB2 (Herbert+JCM). DeepSeek RB4 WR5 QB1 TE1 (Mason+Golden). Meta RB4 WR5 TE1 QB1 (Harvey+Coker). Google WR4 RB4 QB1 TE1 DEF1 (Godwin+LAR). OpenAI WR5 RB4 TE1 QB2 (Diggs+Purdy). Mistral WR3 RB4 TE1 QB1 DEF1 K1 (SEA+Aubrey) — already K/DEF, will hunt WR.

## Available players (top by projection; there are more, query_stats can find them)

Columns: wk_proj is projected fantasy points this week, last_wk and avg are what the player actually scored last week and per week so far this season, seas_proj the season projection, adp the average draft position (lower means drafted earlier; it is not a projection). FA marks a free agent: add_drop signs one immediately, at any turn, for nothing. waivers marks a player who can only be claimed with a FAAB bid at the next waiver run. Status column: Out, Doubtful, IR, PUP and suspensions are hard statuses. "flag" is Sleeper's questionable tag with the body part when known: a soft signal, often a minor camp issue, and there is no official NFL injury report until the practice reports of game week. "QB2 on depth chart" and the like is the team's listed depth order (1 starts). "report:" is the official NFL injury report, filed by the team: the game designation (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, or none) and the latest practice participation (DNP, limited, full).

I’m taking Rachaad White (RB WAS, bye 7). 115 Google will probably grab Dart or another RB, but White should still be there. 127 is next and I’ll have a better read then.

Let me think through this more carefully.
I like the Dart angle for the W10 hole, but the White situation still feels too muddy to trust as a startable RB5. His role is split with JCM, and that hamstring flag is nagging.

Dart's upside is real though—QB1 projection, dual-threat, and that bye 8 lines up perfectly with our Hurts hole. The Giants QB situation is shaky, but Nabers coming back helps.

The next teams are hungry for RB or QB2, so Dart might slip. I think I'd target Dart at 114 if he's still there, or pivot to White if he slides.

Dart is the one who will not last 12 picks; White is a committee question mark I can still hunt at 127. Taking the dual-threat QB who actually covers Hurts’ bye.

Commanders Have a Week 1 RB Question the Depth Chart Can't Answer # Commanders Have a Week 1 RB Question the Depth Chart Can't Answer The Washington Commanders know Jacory Croskey-Merritt sits atop the running back room, but Week 1 should reveal how David Blough plans to divide the carries, passing-down work and short-yardage snaps. Philip Hughes| Dec 25, 2025; Landover, Maryland, USA; Washington Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (22) carries the ball for a touchdown, defended by Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (92) in the third quarter at Northwest Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images | IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect In this story: The Washington Commanders will enter Week 1 with three running backs on the active roster as the team kept Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, and Kaytron Allen on the initial 53. Croskey-Merritt will begin the season as the clear lead back in the room after gaining 805 rushing yards on 175 carries and eight touchdowns in just seven starts in 2025. The question centers around the philosophy Washington has talked about all offseason: situational roles, not a one-back offense. In that scenario, when the situation changes from normal down-and-distance to third down or short yardage, does the running back change with it? Dan Quinn has specifically spent much of the offseason program and camp challenging Croskey-Merritt, pushing him toward becoming an every-down back, with receiving and pass protection as the areas that needed growth. His ability to run with the ball has not been in question after his rookie season, and after adding a few pounds of muscle this offseason, he looks ready to expand his role as a blocker as well. Offensive coordinator David Blough has praised his improvement in catching the football, but what matters come Sunday is whether he remains in the game next to Jayden Daniels when the team reaches an obvious passing down. If he does, that will tell you everything about his role and whether it has grown beyond simply being the Commanders' best runner. > Jacory Croskey-Merritt 175 carries, 805 yards, 8 TDs as a rookie. That’s the SAME Jacory Croskey-Merritt who: (1) led Washington in rushing last year, (2) is developing as a pass catcher, (3) has a legitimate opportunity to take the largest role in this backfield. Year 2 isn’t… > > — Ray Long (@TheExtraYardFF) August 27, 2026 The player who makes this conversation interesting is Rachaad White, who was not brought in simply to take backup carries when Croskey-Merritt needs a rest. White's strength is in his ability to catch the ball coming out of the backfield and accelerate upfield. While Quinn has mentioned White helping "on some third downs," that type of talk directly overlaps with the part of Croskey-Merritt's game Washington has spent much of the offseason developing. This is where the details matter: if White replaces Croskey-Merritt on third downs, Washington has a lead runner and a passing-down back. If Croskey-Merritt stays out there, his offseason development has changed the rotation. In comparison, Kaytron Allen's role is much easier to define and sort. Washington wanted a physical runner capable of grinding out short yardage. You can see clues to Allen's role by watching what happens when the team hits third-and-one or gets near the goal line. If Washington puts Allen in the game, then you'll know Washington has carved out a meaningful role for a third running back even though he sits behind Croskey-Merritt and White in the hierarchy. With preseason over, Blough now has nothing more to hide as he needs everything at his disposal to win. That means White could see most of the passing work, Allen could get the short-yardage carries, and Croskey-Merritt could lead in carries without necessarily owning third downs. Blough could also attempt to make a bell cow out of one of them, although that seems unlikely at this point. Week 1 will give us the first real evidence of Blough's plan to divide the backfield roles. > "It was hard to tackle me last year, but I wanted it to be harder." 😤@JacoryMerritt15 spent the offseason focused on coming back stronger, faster, and harder to bring down. After hitting the weight room, he's ready to absorb contact and churn out dirty yards in Year 2.
